Red White & Boom – A Color Blast 5k event is a run/walk where the name of the game is COLOR! The
event is to benefit Gallatin’s Historic Palace Theater and Greater Gallatin,
Inc. Red White & Boom – A Color Blast is all about color and fun with
friends and family of all different speeds, ages, shapes and sizes. The event
will take place in Triple Creek Park along in Gallatin Tennessee and will cover
3.1 miles. Everyone is welcome to participate from the casual morning walker to
the triathlon runners.
Red White & Boom – A Color Blast 5K is
a paint race. Participants should come in white clothes. At every kilometer of
the race they will find a color pit where our wonderful volunteers throw colored
powder on you as you go by, turning your white clothes into a palette of color!
There are only three rules for this race: 1. Wear White (at least on top), 2.
Arrive on time to start the fun, and 3. Finish the race covered in COLOR! After
the race there will be a big party with music, dancing, vendors and a color
throw.
"Color Blast” participants vary in demographics and reasons for
running. With no winners or official times, Red White & Boom – A Color
Blast 5K caters to anyone – 2 year olds to 100 year olds, first time runners to
professional athletes. So, whether you are a casual morning walker or an avid
marathon runner, the 3 miles of Red White & Boom – A Color Blast 5K course is
sure to be memorable and guaranteed to be a Blast!
